Sagesse Club delegation to the Second Damascus
International Tournament will leave Beirut on the morning
of Wednesday 10 October and will have one practice session
in Damascus before the beginning of the tournament.
Yesterday, Sagesse officially released its men's roster
for the new season. The roster includes Elie Mechantaf
(c), Fadi El Khatib, Elie Nasr, Dani Barhoum, Ali Chamsine,
Bassem Balaa, Roy Samaha, Ziad Charafeddine, Marwane El
Hajj, Badre Makki, Nadim Haoui, Elie Mefarrej, Brian
Beshara, Johnny Rhodes, Sherrel Ford and Assane N'Diaye.
The delegation to Damascus includes all the players except
for Brian Beshara who is still in the US recovering from a
shoulder injury and pursuing a physical reeducation before
coming to Lebanon by mid-November.
Sagesse Club delegation is headed by Elie Yahchouchi; the
deputy head of delegation is Georges Barakat. The
delegation also includes Camille Saadé and Joe Saadé.
Head Coach Ghassan Sarkis will have to work without his
assistant Elie Sfeir who is with the women's national team
in Thailand.
